Dr Youhan Konwar started his teaching career in St. Columba’s School, New Delhi and he has a wealth of experience in education and learning after more than 16 years working in schools in Delhi, Greater Noida and today Principal of Viday Bhaban Publics School, Bareilly,U.P. Prior to his arrival at Vidya Bhaban Public School in April 2018, Dr Konwar was Principal of Oxford Green Public School, Greater Noida and he was head of all the three Schools of OGPS Group. His wide experience in setting up and heading schools, includes creating effective learning environments, school management systems, staffing and curriculum development with the IGCSE,ICSE,IB curriculum as well as CBSE schools. He has conducted numerous teacher trainings on how children learn, collaborative teaching and whole school development. His ideal school is one where every child, teacher, support staff member is encouraged to develop and grow.

He cares passionately about creating a dynamic educational environment for all children and believes that encouragement and a sense of humour are the most important tools for educators.

He believes, no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful, Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
